CROSSROADS AT WASHINGTON GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION

“On September 26th, 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of The Crossroads at Washington! The celebration was a true community affair, with over 100 guests joining us and an incredible performance by Ballet Folklorico Las Estrellas.

This 86-unit affordable housing community will provide a safe and supportive home for low-income families and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) tenants in Santa Ana’s historic Logan neighborhood. Thanks to our partnership with OCHCA, which will provide tailored support for tenants with disabilities, we’ll offer essential onsite services to its residents; including health services, wellness programs, and skill-building classes.

Together, we are creating brighter futures and stronger communities!

PET WELLNESS CLINIC

From May 2023 through August 2024, thanks to generous grant funding and donations, a total of six pet wellness clinics and specialized Spay/Neuter clinics were held at ACOF buildings in Boyle Heights, Pacoima, North Hills, South Los Angeles, and Lincoln Heights.

These events, conducted in collaboration with betterTogether Forever and the Latino Alliance for Animal Care Coalition, delivered services including vaccinations, flea treatments, nail trimming, deworming, microchipping, medically necessary grooming, and emergency care.

In addition to providing essential animal health services, we also distributed pet food and toys, and provided pet owners with invaluable information and resources about animal care and the importance of microchipping, spaying, and neutering.
