A Community of Friends is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to end homelessness through the provision of quality permanent supportive housing for people with mental illness. ACOF is hiring and we want you. We offer challenging work, but we also love to have fun and laugh. We offer flexible work schedules, and many positions have the flexibility to work from home (a day per week or more).
We currently offer our employees 12 paid holidays, and 100% of employee medical, dental, and vision benefits (HMO) with options for PPO (available for employees after their first full month of service), paid holiday break, vacation, and sick time off. We also have a 401(k) with employer contribution (no matching required) and FSA available to employees immediately on hire.
Our Employee Engagement Committee is an employee-led group that helps plan fun and interactive activities with support from our leadership team.
We are excited to offer a $1,000 hiring bonus for new hires, which will be paid $250.00 upon hire and the remainder fully paid upon successful completion of your 6-month evaluation period! Transparency in Coverage Information
As a part of the Transparency in Coverage (TIC) Rule that was put into place in August 2021, insurers/health plans are required to create and post machine-readable files (MRFs) that can be read by other computer systems, that include detailed pricing data regarding:
- Network negotiated rates for all items and services
- Historical payments to, and billed charges from, out-of-network providers
