HOMEKEY HIGHLAND
DESCRIPTION
Highland is a Homekey project involving the rehabilitation and conversion of an existing 62-unit hotel into a 62-unit affordable housing development that will include 61 permanent supportive housing units for formerly homeless households and households at-risk of homelessness. Of the 61 permanent housing units, 28 will be reserved for chronically homeless households and 33 will be reserved for households at-risk of homelessness. There will be 56 studios, 5 one-bedrooms, and 1 two-bedroom manager’s unit. Additionally, this building will offer an elevator for handicap accessibility and a wide set of on-site case-management services. This affordable housing development has been made possible by financing from HCD Project Homekey, City of LA HHH and HOME ARP, HCLA Project-Based Vouchers, and Genesis LA Economic Growth Corporation. We are excited to welcome tenants into their new homes soon!
