MEE HEH RISDON
Director of Housing
Mee Heh Risdon joined A Community of Friends in November 2017 and currently serves as Director of Housing. In this role, she oversees ACOF’s housing development team and is responsible for maintaining a strong pipeline of quality projects that meet ACOF’s standards. Before joining ACOF, Mee Heh was a Senior Loan Officer at a national community development financial institution, originating over $83 million in loans for 35 supportive housing developments throughout Los Angeles County. She also worked in community development consulting, where she helped write housing elements and housing and economic development plans for communities and was a Senior Project Manager at a national nonprofit development corporation, managing multiple $10-$40 million affordable housing developments through all phases of development. Mee Heh has served on SCANPH’s Board of Directors since 2021 and serves on the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council.
Mee Heh has worked in affordable housing development since 1998 and holds a Master in City Planning with a concentration in Housing, Community, and Economic Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies with a concentration in Community Organizations from Stanford University.
