When you support this event, you’ll be helping to maintain and grow ACOF’s impact, which includes 53 apartment communities supporting more than 3,300 tenants with affordable housing and wraparound serv ices to help people to build stability and thrive after navigating homelessness and living with mental illness. And we’re always growing, with a pipeline of 6 new projects which will deliver 410 new housing units.

LAST YEAR’S EVENT

On June 4, 2025, A Community of Friends hosted our Awards Celebration to recognize the contributions of three inspirational community leaders and raise funds to support ACOF’s transformative mission. This year, we honored three exceptional individuals: Los Angeles City Council President The Honorable Marqueece Harris-Dawson; CEO of Downtown Women’s Center Amy Turk; and ACOF Tenant Cristal Couoh. The event, held at Candela La Brea, was supported by our generous sponsors, whose contributions make it possible for ACOF to grow and maintain its impact. Read more
